From mastering an instrument to students' very first notes on the piano, we believe strongly in meeting our students where they are and catering their individual experience to their personal goals and strengths.

Piano Studio | Ages 5 and up

Strings Studio | Ages 5 and up

Nurturing young musicians through a blend of foundational technique and expressive artistry. Offering both collaborative Small Group Suzuki classes for our youngest beginners and tailored individual private lessons, our strings program covers violin, viola, and cello. Our instructors guide students from their very first notes to advanced ensemble skills, building technical precision and confidence through a supportive, relationship-first approach.

Catering to the unique musical goals and background of each student, our guitar studio offers comprehensive instruction spanning all eras and genres. From foundational technique and chord progression design to advanced stylings, whether mastering heavy metal, classical, pop rock, punk, or contemporary worship music, our instructors equip guitarists with the technical versatility and confidence to thrive in any musical setting.
Brianna Cassick, Violin and Piano
Bri is an accomplished strings and piano instructor with a rich background in classical training and specialized traditional fiddle styles. She began her musical studies early with piano before transitioning to violin at age five, later winning the U.S. National Junior Scottish Fiddle Championship in 2011 after competing extensively along the East Coast. Bri has refined her craft alongside world-renowned fiddlers and string innovators, including Hanneke Cassel, Jeremy Kittel, and Mark O'Connor. She also continues her international studies, most recently attending master workshops in Scotland with Blazin' Fiddles and The Battlefield Band.
In her studio, Bri merges traditional classical technique with vibrant folk and Celtic fiddle traditions to offer a engaging, well-rounded musical foundation. She is passionate about expanding her students' horizons by introducing them to unique styles, fostering both technical precision and creative expression tailored to each student’s goals.
When she isn’t teaching or playing, Bri enjoys exploring new traditional music repertoires and staying active in the broader string community. She is excited to share her love of music with students and families across our community.

Virginia Flores, Strings and Piano
Suzuki Small Group Strings and Private Instruction
Virginia is a seasoned strings and piano instructor with over two decades of diverse classroom and studio experience across Northern Virginia, Honduras, and the RVA metro area. She holds a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and Upper String Pedagogy from Temple University and has completed specialized Suzuki method training. An active and accomplished performer, Virginia has played with numerous symphony orchestras throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and has even featured as the violin soloist for the Italy Show at Busch Gardens. Currently, she serves as an adjunct faculty member at Brightpoint Community College.
In her studio, Virginia blends the world-renowned Suzuki method with traditional pedagogy to tailor her instruction to each student’s unique learning style. She is passionate about helping young musicians achieve their individual goals through a supportive, student-centered approach.
When she isn’t teaching or performing, Virginia keeps busy homeschooling and loves spending time in the outdoors with her husband and three children, reading, and running in the mountains. She is thrilled to join the faculty at Beacon RVA this year and to expand premium strings education to families in our community.

Ronnie Webster, Guitar
Ronnie is an experienced guitarist, educator, and mentor with over two decades of diverse musical and performance experience. For the past 23 years, he has played guitar across a wide spectrum of musical settings, from touring in regional bands to leading Sunday morning contemporary worship teams. Currently, he lends his talents as a member of the active rock band Lighthaven. Blending deep technical proficiency with real-world stage experience, he brings a versatile understanding of genre, spanning from rock to heavy metal to contemporary praise, directly to his guitar students.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and currently completing his Master of Divinity, his background is rooted in community and youth mentorship. He has spent eight years serving as a youth and young adult pastor and worked as a middle school counselor at the Ashland YMCA. This extensive background in youth leadership shapes his approach in the studio, where he prioritizes building strong, authentic relationships and meeting every student exactly where they are in their musical journey.
When he isn’t teaching or performing, he serves his local church in the praise band and loves spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Kate, for nearly ten years, and together they keep busy raising their three young children, Oliver, Forrest, and Virginia.

Bethany Wolfe, Piano and Voice
Beacon RVA Music Academy Director
Bethany is a dedicated professional music educator, private vocal and piano instructor, and choral conductor with 15+ years of classroom and studio experience. A graduate of Appalachian State University’s music education program, she holds active teaching licenses in both Virginia and North Carolina. Throughout her career, Bethany has directed acclaimed choral programs, including taking her ensembles to perform internationally in Toronto. She is also the Founding and Artistic Director of the Chesterfield Children's Choir. In her private studio, she blends high-rigor technical training with creative student engagement, meeting every young musician exactly where they are. Bethany is passionate about cultivating authentic mentorship and joyful artistic growth.
As the Program Director for Beacon RVA, Bethany channels her extensive background into providing an organized, communicative, smooth process for both students' families and the Music Academy's staff. Through her work over the years managing the administrative work for her own small business, trip planning for student groups, building and maintaining websites for various organizations, and a love of spreadsheets, Bethany manages all of the administrative, billing, and scheduling needs for various programs at Beacon RVA.
When she isn't teaching lessons through the Music Academy, Bethany also works as the Director of Community Engagement and Operations for Beacon's homeschool program and is the Director of Music at Southminster Presbyterian Church. Bethany loves spending time with her husband and two children, crocheting, reading, and enjoying outdoor adventures like gold dredging.
