Class Description
For our Little Learners that are ready to participate in activities similar to our elementary age co-op. Our Little Learner instructors will communicate with parents on readiness. This class is a play-based group for young learners ages 3-5. Through imaginative play, sensory exploration, and read alouds we help learners to increase turn taking and sharing skills, imitation skills and coordination, following a routine, accepting and asking for help, and following directions. Learners of all abilities are welcome as the class is taught by a special education teacher and behavior therapist so sign language and other supports are integrated throughout the class. *Per state guidelines parents will need to stay close by for our classes for children under 6. Once registered, we will set up a time to call and discuss the class in more detail and your roles as parent/guardian. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions. Quarter Two: October 27, 2023 - January 18, 2024 No Co-Op or Classes on November 6, 7, and 22-24, Winter Break and January 15 Winter Break December 22 - January 5 Resume Co-Op and Classes on January 8th
